Hi Chris,
Is your expansion tank the highest point of your cooling system? You stated=
that the expansion tank has a connection to the top of the radiator to rem=
ove air from the system. However, the radiator is not the highest point of =
the system. I'm not sure what intake manifold you are running, but you shou=
ld have a line that runs from just behind the thermostat housing (on top of=
the intake manifold), to the top of the expansion tank. This allows trappe=
d air in the system to bleed out into the expansion tank. If you are runnin=
g an Edelbrock Performer intake manifold, you will have to drill and tap a =
hole into the top of the manifold for a hose nipple.=20
