Actually the dyno shop recommended a 600 CFM Edlebroch.  Of course they
did that on the basis of my engine being ported and polished with large
valves, headers, and a fairly hot cam.

The dyno shop tuned the Edlebroch on the dyno.  As far as I am concerned
it was a waste of money.  It did run smooth but it never brought the
engine to life.  I still use stone age technology for engine diagnostics
and the settings the dyno shop used produced pure white spark plug
tips.  I tried tuning the Edlebrock for a richer setting and got no
improvement in performance.  The switch to a Holley made an instant
difference.
