Since I didn't respond to a perceived assertion about winning,
I'm not sure what you're point is.

Given that _nobody_ has ever been denied entry to Nationals
because the event was full, that's a complete load of crap. If
such a scenario ever occurs - and appears likely to be a
continuing problem - I would support more stringent qualifying
requirements.

Just everyone else who competes in Solo. That means you've only
insulted maybe 80-90% of the serious competitors out there. What
a stand-up guy.

Sorta like some of the backmarkers at the Runoffs, huh?

Matt has already answered that. I would suggest that your foot is
already well implanted in your mouth. Maybe just shutting up
would be your best strategy.

Wow, that's contemporary. So you know a lot about the sport as it
exists now, right? Bwahahaha.

>While I no longer actively autocross (due to work and home),

Bingo. You're in no position to judge, then.

You presume that others participating in this discussion were
_not_ "there," and you presume quite falsely.

I'd say the above is true by definition. If you don't like the
sport enough to even participate, why should those of us who do
put out the effort give a rat's ass what you think?
