Relating the incidents at Peru to the discussion last week on site loss, I
would hope that we could use this to further our knowledge of course design
and hazards to eliminate these issues.   It seems to me that two cars
contacting each other on course COULD cost a site, certainly a course
worker(S) getting squished would result in the loss of a site!!!

I would think that the _professional_ arm of the sport would normally have
the safest courses, but this proves how hard it is to gauge the dangers
(Especially since I wasn't even there :))

 In this information age, all it takes is one serious injury/lawsuit to
create massive hysteria regarding sites all across the country, so it is in
all of our best interest to use these close calls the further our knowledge,
not create a bunch of knee-jerk new rules.
