ok, don't laugh... how about an old beetle? Get a super beetle with the macpherson strut front end. Do a lot of engine work, maybe something above 1900CCs..... that could be fun :) on a side note...

1974, although those early cars had pretty small engines -- a '74 chassis would be an immediate engine-swap candidate. And early Rabbits were not blessed with great reliability. I thought about that
