Connecting the blue to the red/green will only work of the headlights are
on. Hook r/g to Brn/Blu to test the switch. If still no lights check
red/grn at the switch for 12v, then again at the fuse at the fuse block for
12v (with the switch on - its the supply). If 12v is present at the switch
red/grn then switch is good, if no 12v on red/grn at the fuse block, then
red/grn wire is bad. If 12v at red/grn at the fuse check red for 12v (its
the load). If 12v at r/g but not at red, then fuse or fuse block is bad. If
12v at red is good then the feeder wire going to the bulbs is bad. With red
removed from the fuse block there should be no resistance to ground from the
red wire if any of the light bulbs are good. If resistance is infinity
either all the bulbs are bad or the wire is open somewhere before the first
good light bulb. Hope this helps, let me know.

I've checked the circuits with an ammeter/voltmeter. With the light switch
in
the middle position, I get power thru the fusebox and across the rheostat
(red/white and red wires), yet I don't see and marker lights or instrument
lights on. What's going on? Do all the gauges need to be in and connected
for that circuit to work?
If I hook the blue wire directly to the red/white wire and connect the
circuit
(flip the light switch to the main beam [blue] position), I still get no
instrument or marker lights.
I confirmed that everything else works: main beams, flash high, and high
beam
dip. I'm confused.
