What is it?

     On my '73 TR6, there is a small white-ish plastic piece on the inside 
     of the cockpit at the interior rocker (correct term?), midway between 
     the a and b posts. It almost looks like a very thin electrical 
     connector of some sort. It's probably 2" wide by 1/8 to 1/4" thick 
     standing on end.
