Who started this rumor? DOT-5 Silicone does NOT absorb moisture! That is
part of the reason to use it. Dot 3&4 both will absorb moisture, and that is
why they screw up without periodic maintenance. The US military has used
silicone exclusively for about 20 years, from my understanding. End of
story. Man, people keep getting things backwards around here lately.
