The Japanese motorcycle manufacturers solved the fundamental =
gasket-enhancement issue long ago, with two products that perform like =
Hylomar but IMHO are a bit better. Yamaha called them Yamabond #4 and =
#5. The product is actually made by Threebond, and about every MC =
company uses them and private labels the stuff, including Ducati. #4 is =
a heavier consistency and can be used in gasket-less applications. #5 is =
thin, flexible and non-hardening and works well for coating gaskets. It =
won=E2=80=99t tear thin paper gaskets during disassembly. Great stuff.=20=

RTV silicone.
