Hi Paul and all the others,

My name is Daniel Forest. I'm doing the Quebec Italian Club newsletter for 10
years and did the Montreal Solo 2 club (CADL) for 5 years. Still using an old
386 and a antique version of Page Maker, I'm always receiving great
compliments about my work. I think the time invested and the experience are
more important than the tools used.

I used a text publisher (? forgive me if I'm using the wrong words, I'm
French) for the same reason you are looking for one: text flowing, and ease
of placing pictures.

I could do the same job with a recent version of Word or WP but it would be
more time consuming.

The various text publisher are really powerfull tools, especially in their
recent versions. For our needs (club newsletters), we don't required most of
their features. Using a simple (cheaper) one is a good alternative since the
learning time will be shorter.

A pentium is in my near future. A new publisher software will then be under
consideration. I loved working with Pagemaker but the newest version are a
world apart of what I have and I'm not sure I need all the goodies.

Good luck!
Daniel
