Don,

I would take the main leaf you have to your local friendly spring shop and
have them make you a new leaf, using the old one as a pattern. Kansas must
have as many cart sprung contraptions as Colorado. If you look in "Blower"
you will find, at the top of page 494 for the fronts, & p.495 for the rears,
a complete drawing of the MMM springs as originally supplied. By all means
use modern tape between the leaves, originally they had nothing.
