I completely agree regarding production based race cars. We have the same situation here in the US Vintage Race events. No argument here. There seem to be plenty of MGA's, Triumphs, Alfas and Porsch

Actually, the english have a number of series of single marque races that are appropriate for this , with TVRs, Sevens, and one planned for the Lotus Elise. Renault does it withthe Sport Spider. But
