I agree. If you look back at the results from nationals last year, it doesn't appear that the Talons/Eclipses were any faster than GS has been in the past. Their times were a little slower than one m

If anyone had declared the Eclipse an overdog in GS a year ago many would have laughed. Seems silly to suddenly throw it from class after some folks put the time and energy in to make a disregarded G

Kinda funny really. Every autocross article I've ever read (until last year) pounded the Eclipse/Talon/Laser Turbo AWD for being too heavy, having too much lag, not having enough tire, and generally

I think its very tough to judge the competitiveness of a particular car based on one or two events. You must consider the level of preperation, the drivers skills, the course design and the weather.

I am not a GS competitor, but I agree that the Eclipse is in the wrong class. The horsepower, weight, 4wd, etc. have proven that this car does deserve to be in a different class. Good luck on getting

Overdog might be a little strong, when you weigh 500lbs more (3100lbs)than a Type R or MX 6 on the same width (6.5") wheel, and do not have the balance of an F-body. I do have to admit the car transi
