Lou, you could be correct about the availability of the "bumblebee"  
wires...in a way. However, my Lucas 400E Master Catalogue 1945-1960 lists the  
following "High Tension Cables" (all 7mm):
 
Black Standard Rubber
Black Neoprene
Yellow/Black Braided Glossy
 
and P.V.C. in Red, Black, Blue, Green, White, Yellow, Purple, Grey and  
Orange!
 
Wow. There are no pictures, though, and the book doesn't otherwise indicate  
if any of these wires was "branded" in any way.
