Ah the factory parts mamual...Therein lies the rub
The factory parts manual covers the TR2 and early TR3 models period.
There a jillion suppliment pages, not really illustrated that say part
number X has been superseeded by part number Y and such. Collecting
suppliment pages is pretty hit & miss.
Enter me the customer with a post TS60000 TR3A. I can not use the book
to order a part not in the book. Also I may be in a world of hurt if
the part that is right for my car is different than described in the TR2
parts book.
Say what you will about Moss parts quality I personally think their
catalogues are first rate. They at least show the parts for my car.
Now if I could call TRF and give them a Moss part number....
