Its not that at all. Its Ken who insists on jumping down Fred's throat
everytime he says something. I for one, am pretty damn tired of it.

Fellow Listers,
Something is rotten in Denmark.....
Can't we just be friends?
Why do we have to jump at each other's throat each time we open our mouth
and say something 'notpoliticallycorrect'?
Some people do speak with an accent or look different (including me).
If we always have to concentrate on being politically correct all the time,
we won't have time to help each other fixing our TRs.
If someone makes a comment that 'hits home' with me, I just consider the
source and forget about it.
Personally I don't blame Fred for being ticked-off, but, I guess he just
forgot to powder-coat his remark :-)
Thanks for listening.
John
Ps. I'm Danish (from Denmark) and I speak with an Irish accent (Go figure)

Mark;
We tend not to be as sensitive to slurs made against some groups as to those
made against others. Since we're more attuned to the racism directed at
Af.rican Americans, consider Fred's remarks as if they were made in the
dialect of what a racist would use for Black dialect. Maybe now you see it?
Not just my feeling...fellow Triumph lover and friend, Michael Le (Vietnam),
was rather ticked when he read the original post. Fred's remark was
insensitive at best.
