Well, I decided I did not like the factory setup on a T/R 3 for checking
and refilling the tranny as well as greasing the front u-joint, so I take a
brand new carpet piece and the tranny cover to my local upholstery shop. I
take my time to explain how I want a plug/ trap door effect for these 2
openings and using velcro put the carpet plug back in place so as it will
not be noticed and now I can easily service my car. Just drove down to pick
it up and the shop cut 2 very large holes in the carpet, then sewed a heavy
piece of binding around both places, now counting the shifter I have 3 ugly
holes in a row, and a tottally ruined brand new tranny cover. Now he tells
me "O-So, No Can Do That Way", no understand your english so good, sollie.
