Any serious car thief is going to have a complete substitute ignition
system (not just a rotor) with him. Whitney used to sell one for under
$200 that would fit in a lunchbox ...
Besides, who is going to open the hood and take out the rotor every time
they park the car ? A security system you don't use is worse than no
security at all !
Also, a kill switch should ground the relevant wire, so that a simple hot
wire still won't start the car. You have to know what to cut, and where
...
