I never had a oil cannister seal problem on a TR, but I had a whopper on a Rolls! Changed the filter, placed the cannister back, bolted it in position. start up and SPEWWWWW! the stuff went everywhere!. I had to re-fit it countless times. Luckily I had a case of oil!
