> Hi all,
> I have had the full tune up done by a pro, that I trust (full rolling
road, sorting out twin webers, 150 pounds!).
> However, what he demonstrated, was that given a perfect car, he could
reach a better power output than I could, and if everything stayed constant
the car would be great forever..
> What I realised, was that my car was not perfect (who's is!!) and that I
was going to have to get the car tuned after each little intervention I
made..
> Hence best thing is to learn yourself.
> Timing light is worthwhile definately...
> I have also just bought a %CO analyser (Early Xmas present). A bit more
expensive than the colourtune (60quid) but the whole lot is still less than
one pro-tuning!!
