I think youre right. I enquired about tuneups and they quoted everything from 
30 to 50 pounds. And when they asked me what my car was the response ranged 
from "carbs?" and "4 cylinders?"

I was worried about someone else touching my car. I quite like the idea of 
knowing everything that I do to the car - and not letting someone else adjust 
things with out me knowing.
