Barbara,
Is the play rotational or is it up and down? Others have mentioned
the obvious causes for rotational play. Up and down play is caused by worn
bushings in the steering column. Moss lists them, but I've never put them
in so I cannot advise in the difficulty. Has anyone else done this? My
'69 'BGT needs them replaced.
