That's for the Street Tire class.  For Stock and Street Prepared, there is
no treadwear rating limit; the tires must merely be DOT-approved (whatever
the hell THAT means).

This is why the really fast Stock and SP drivers have those funny tires with
hardly any tread.

Scot - not one of the really fast guys, but I do have those funny tires!
