When I was a wee teenager a buddy of mine and I went out on a double
date. When we emerged from the restaurant, we found that someone had
parked very close to my friends car, and nicked his door.
My friend was incensed, but quickly found a fitting response given that
he was driving an early 70' land yacht. He backed out of the space,
performed a 90 degree turn and promptly backed into the offending door
exacting more than adequate revenge.
I'm certainly not advocating such a response, and plead innocent of all
charges due to being clinically insane at the time - teenager, you know.
But it was funny at the time.

Yep,
Just about a month after I finally bought my first TR6, just 2 years
ago, we
took it on a little road trip. The first night out we parked at the far
end
of the motel parking lot, far away from everybody else, and sure enough,
during the night somebody parked beside us, and whacked the passenger
side
door with their door and put a 4 inch crease in it. It always happens
when
it will hurt your feelings the most.

Listers,
After a new paint job last year, I acquired two dings on my otherwise
perfect body. Here's my theory . . . don't get it fixed! If I do I'll
be driving with high anxiety wondering if and when it's going to happen
again. Drive as is and I'll enjoy the road better. Anyone share this
scenario?
