I think it's because they drive SUVs. I know this, because I drove a bunch of
SUV drivers home one night after a concert. They said, and I'm not kidding,
that I was not driving aggressively enough.
I think the height and visibility of the vehicle, coupled with its smooth ride,
gives the false impression of security and omnipotence.
This is why, in general, when going out with friends, I would just as well take
public transit.
It's so hard being an autocrosser in a world of FOOLS. :)
