YES! I put urethanes in my TR6 10 or 12 years ago. The place I got them from (probably TRF) recommended a "copper based lubricant". I couldn't find any so I lubed 'em with moly grease and stuck 'em i

Does anyone know which way the coolant flows in the TR6 motor? She gets a bit "balky" during cold weather and I've noticed that the intake manifold is nice and warm, but the manifold adapting the dow

I had the same experience with my first cable replacement, shortly after I bought the car in '85. So I put in another cable, but this time tried to make sure I made all the bend radii as large as po

Many, many years ago I started using the thin metal L-shaped backing plates and fixed the squealing brakes on my '73. But they still have a "constant squeak when rolling", unless I press the peddle

I'll second Keith's vote. I went from the TRF springs (which were too stiff and rode too high) to the stock springs to the BPNW springs. I wouldn't go with the standard springs; within a year the rea

Be careful of the Frams. Sucked the stuffing out of one in my six. Then, a few months later, this list referenced an oil filter study done by Russ Knize. The URL I originally linked is dead, but do

Interesting. I've been running halogens (standard replacements, not high output off-roads or any such) in my '73 for ... oh ... probably 15 years now with no problems. - GeneG - www.garrison-grafixx.

I'm a bit behind in my TR6 readings (as usual) but it doesn't look like you got any replies to this. I've got 215x60R16s on mine (see http://www.garrison-grafixx.com/tr6/). These are a couple % belo

OK, I'm a month behind with the TR list... Assuming you've already done this, how'd it go with the bezels? I'm curious 'cause the bezels on my '73 were black paint over chrome. I know because I was

There's an interesting thought. I agree that you want more oil and less "viscositizers". But is it the difference of high-low or the ratio of high/low that is more important? Anybody have any idea? -
