Joe,

OK, I'm a month behind with the TR list...

Assuming you've already done this, how'd it go with the bezels? I'm curious
'cause the bezels on my '73 were black paint over chrome. I know because I
was treating the dash with teak oil when I first bought the car ('85) and the
dash was in pretty poor shape. Then I was using denatured alcohol to remove
the teak oil from the gauges, which took the paint off over a couple of years.

And you probably know already that you should remove the windscreen to
replace the dash pad. I restored mine about 6 years back and painted the
windscreen frame flat black rather than replacing the vinyl. Looks fine.
BTW, replacing the seal around the windscreen glass is a piece of cake, just
follow the instructions in the manual.
