Good day!
I rebuilt the calipers on my '73 TR6. The dust seals were shot and, anyway,
it's part of my 30 year maintainence schedule. And, yes, I separated the two
halves. I must say that things were in surprisingly good shape inside, no
rust at all.
Now I can't seem to get the air out of the system. I ran nearly a quart of
brake fluid thru it using the smiling assistant technique, let it sit a week,
and then ran another 1/2 quart thru. Then I went and bought a Mityvac and
did it again. Nothing. Pedal still goes right to the floor, though it will
pump up. No leaks or anything.
What'd I miss?
