Jim:

I have heard similar tales from some of our Vintage V drivers. We do
race as a single group down here normally. This means we ALL have to
watch out for each other - that's a bi-directional responsibility!! The
dangers to the Formula drivers are, I agree, higher due to the greater
exposure the present.

This presents a "numbers" game... are there enough Formula cars that
would enter to restrict the entries (doubtful)? Must every team have a
Formula car and will the sessions be limited and controlled so that only
Open-wheeled cars are on the track at the same time (difficult)? Since
we would be talking about a 24-Hour event, how well do the headlamps
work on Formula cars?

Some pithy questions... Makes shorter races where the groups can be
divided and controlled more appealing from an organizational aspect.
But we are talking true EVENT!!! Would you have a friend with a sedan?
Would you have a GOOD friend with a racing sedan...?

Thanks for the input - keep forwarding thoughts...
