The axle was somewhat different, there's an illustration in the Moss catalog
(at least the old one I have on-line) showing the extra spring (?) pad on
the 4A solid axle. But whether it could be used under a '4, I couldn't say.
It looks like, at worst, you might have to cut off the 4A spring pads and
weld on '4 ones.
