The nice thing about this outlet is that there are 2 wires and doesn't rely
on the casing being grounded :-) So wiring it for +ve earth is a snap.
The socket is originally designed for external use where you would like a
power outlet at the back of a truck. So, it is waterproof etc.

The additional fuse was a given due to the lack of in-car fuses in a
standard TR3a :-) The fuse would go on the ammeter lead or doesn't matter?
