These are the directions that came from moss:
Be sure to jack up the car and secure it on jack stands, to allow insertion
from below.
remove shock absorber.
Insert tool as shown. (since i dont have scanner, i'll explain) castle &
washer on top; big plate on bottom, followed by spacer, washer, lock nut &
nut.
**be sure to grease lower 1/3 of rod.
insertion of the cotter pin at the top will prevent the tool from rotating
as you compress teh spring, as well as keep the upper nut from coming off at
the same time( with potentially dangerous results).
*situate the metal plate between the 4 studs that the lower shock brackets
mount to. Once the lower nut and lockwasher are brought up snug, you can
remove the 6 nuts holding the sprin pan to the A-arms. Slacking off the
lower nut of the tool slowly will release the spring tension..
*Once the sprin is removed , the rest of the suspension can be easily
disassemvled. Spring replacement is the exact reversal.
