That's what I thought too until I looked in Piggott's book (p 36) at a
post TS60001 TR3A and saw that the stanchion in the pictured car is not
slotted.  BTW, I routinely remove the windscreen for driving with an
Aeroscreen.  With a bit of practice it's a quick one-person job.
