>From my experience working in the tire industry there can be two types of
blems. While they are always called cosmetic, some black in the white wall
or scuff marks another qualification of a blem is a "heavy" spot on the tire
making it a little more difficult to balance. These tires would usually be
correctable through balancing, but if you by blems pay attention to the
amount of weights added to the rims and if there is a vibration get a
different tire. The overwhelming complaint we would receive on selling
blems would be difficulty balancing.

I have bought two sets of "Blem" redlines from Coker. Honestly, I am not
sure I can find the imperfection on most. They clain that is the condition
of all, but I closely inspected each tire on delivery. I guess I'm lucky
living near Chattanooga, I was able to inspect and pick up in person.
