The chevette uses 'normal' (seated cone, like TR) bleeders in the back and
a ball-and-seat type in the front.

Provided your heli-coils have enough bite to hold down the bleeder you
should have no problems.

You can also buy ball bearings from any good bike store.  They're pennies
apiece, especially for the small ones (ever taken apart a bike freewheel?
yikes!)
