Fellow Motorheads,
This is a `heads up' to all who wish to convert from disc to wire wheels:
The big difference is, with discs, you do the final tightening of the nuts
after the car is down off the jack. With the knock-offs, you hammer on the
nut to its final tightness while the car is still up on the jack...for
those of us who've lived with disc wheels forever, that's a hard habit to
break--be sure to engage brain before removing jack.
Now, back to the Combine demolition derby...Krunch! Roar! Owwwww...!!
