PS - What is the commission number of your car, I bet it is close to ours,
stories abound about riffling various other parts bins during production when
parts ran short etc. No telling where the four nippled vacuum switches were
supposed to be going

Joe,

Thanks for the info, sounds like you have the correct connections!

My TR-6 has comm # CF28973, made Nov 1974, which makes it one of those 74 1/2
models. You know the type, a bit of the 'true' '74 stuff, some of the '75
model stuff and some unique only to the '74 1/2 (CF27001 - CF35000) range.

Don't know why TRF insists on calling these (CF27001 - CF35000) a '75; Moss, VB
and the British Motor Heritage Trust refer to it as a '74 1/2. Makes it hard to
deal with them sometimes; when I call the tech line they say '75's don't have
that part, but '74's do so someone must have changed it; then I have to go
thru the whole process of telling them what a '74 1/2 model is......

I am still trying to determine if the '74 1/2 models have two vacuum lines
going from the rear carb to the EGR valve ( one from the top and one from
somewhere on the left side of the carb). I know the true '74 do, but the only
other '74 1/2 model I have come across did not.... Don't know if it would
cause any problems or not.

Any ideas if running without those fuel traps in the vacuum lines would cause
any problems or not? As you can guess I don't have any.

Thanks.
