Re-measuring my wheels (no size markings have been found yet) tells me I bought
the 13 inch wheels that I thought I was getting in the first place. 5.5 rim
width and 3.5 offset. Don't know why I thought they were 14's when I first
picked them up.
I am considering the AVS Intermediates, but am concerned about size. Is a
205/60-13 going to be "too much tire"? I may leave them on the Spit a lot, and
am worried about a light car on fat rubber in the rain. I have to think it
would be risky with a 215/50-13. Would probably have to mount street tires amd
the stock wheels for every day driving.
