I remember my UK Dolomite 1500 had the single pipe manifold. Looked pretty much
the same as the US one. Same single triangular gasket to connect to the exhaust
pipe.
Sounds like there were possibly at least 2 manifolds for the same block in the
UK.

Which UK manifold is it? The 1300 type is fine and apparently flows well
enough for the 1500, though I've only had them on 1300s. The UK spec 1500
manifold is nothing but trouble - this has twin outlet pipes with a
troublesome figure-8 gasket and a downpipe to match. Not under any
circumstance would I ever fit one of these to a car! I've lived with them
and cursed them after having to change that gasket every 3000 miles!
