Maybe you need a multi pass radiator. Do you know what is in the car now; s=
ingle, double; triple pass?

I have an expansion tank which is plumbed at the sucktion side of the lower=

I don=E2=80=99t understand the air flow question. The car has an inlet on f=
ront, and an airbox around the radiator to force the air through.

What pressure are you running?
Do you have a pressurized expansion tank plumed into the system that takes =
water from the back of one of the heads then recirculates to the pump?
What kind of air flow are you getting through the radiator?

Hi guys,

My TR8 is running way too hot about 212F at full speed and at idle the temp=
s are getting that high also. I have no idea to get them down.
Radiator core is 68x48cm x 5 cm. I suppose that should be enough. I've expe=
riment with different restrictor plates with no change. Changing pump speed=
didn't help either. The difference between radiator in and outlet is 10=C2=
=B0C (50F). Not enough I would say. Maybe making the pump more slower? It w=
as running on a ratio of 0.8 slower than crank, currently 1:1 speed. Any id=
eas? 10 Liters are circulating.
