"Kills SCCA in the market place?" What world are you living in? I
see entry caps on more and more events and record attendance
levels overall year after year. In general, we have too _many_
competitors, not too few.
I also see at least as much bitching about having to have a _new_
car to win as an old one. Doesn't matter which point of view you
try to favor, the other side is going to bitch. Sorta reminds me
of dealing with my teenage daughter.

I claim the rulesmakers and the sport are far better off being as
neutral as possible wrt vehicle age. Time and the tinworm will
take care of the issue quite nicely, thank you.
