Chicago region has no novice class.  Here are our numbers:

Stock                   44.875
Street Prepared         12.125
Prepared                7.375

Kart                    4.5

STR                     1.25
STS                     6.375
SM                      6.25

Street tire (index)     43.625

Total                   134.75

In our region, I'd say STS and SM are doing ok, but STR is pretty much 
dead.  We get about as many street tire cars as stock class.  These are 
newbies, people who don't want to change tires, or people jumping cars to 
try something new.
