Really?  Was there a special ruling allowing it?  The Solo2 Rulebook does not 
specify level of preparation for disallowing later model year vehicles, only 
that it has to be pre-approved to be eligible at all, and the current mindset 
is that won't happen past July.

My interpretation is that it's not eligible, except for time only, regardless 
of class/prep level.
