Hi Gang,

Don't forget the change in the tranny mount brackets on the frame! This
change corresponds to the 73- MY to accept the J type OD.

FWIW, you can use a late frame on an early car with or without either OD.
This will require the late style trans mounts and bolt on brackets.
A little more challenging is using an early frame with a J type. This would
either require an adapter mount arrangement (see Quantum) or welding to the
frame a set of late brackets. (I've done the latter with success.)

There are also differences in the front upper crossmembers after 72, you
need to keep the crossmember that fits your bumper bracket configuration.
