Don't forget that those little rice rockets can be pushed to 500+ hp! Not to
say that there are many of these "life shorter than a mayfly" grenades flying
about. But they can be easily bumped up to 250+ hp with no major engine work
needed! Kind of humbling until one realizes what 35 years of technological
advances have done to the automobile. I work with a fellow who does Toyotas
and he has a four banger that runs 11.9 seconds in the 1/4 mile, with nitrous
of course. Yowza! I do not delude myself to think that I belong with the fast
and the furious, otherwise I will most probably find myself with the stupid and
the dead!
