        Matt:

Try the NADA price guide on line.

        http://www2.nadaguides.com/

The problem with these is that when a car gets that old, condition
and
originality are everything. That is something that is hard to evaluate from
the price guides. Based on your description, it sounds as though your car
would be
near the top end of the price range.
Another option: Go to eBay, and look for closed auctions on cars
that are
close to yours in mileage, condition, etc. Near concours cars go for $15k+,
beaters for $2k. Overdrive adds $1k to the price, and a hard top seems to
add
about $500. These are for highly original cars. The less original, the lower
the price. So if you have a V8 engine in your car, or a Ford rear end,
expect
to get less.

        Ciao,

        Vance

<snip>

What would be a reasonable value on a 71 with a 10K TRF rebuilt motor,
virtually new Panasports w/ redlines, good interior, good mechanical, J type
overdrive, dual webers? It is black exterior, black interior. It was 3rd
place peoples choice at 2 VTR national meets - Savannah and Ashville. I
completed a body off in the late 80's and have only put 25K miles at most on
it.
