I had similar problems. Both pieces of exhaust header were out of alignment.
The front exhaust (cyl 1-2-3)section fit flush to the head but the single
tube (cyl 1) was off by 1/4 inch. I got a muffler shop to bend it to fit.
The rear exhaust (cyl 4-5-6) section was twisted and could not be fitted.
There was almost 1 inch of twist. It took a combination of a muffler shop
bending the tubes, a welding shop heating and bending the tubes, and a
machine shop to shave the faces flush to get this thing to fit without
leaks.

I would not recommend this exhaust tubular system to anyone. Better ones are
available from other sources.

I will admit that the rest of the sport exhaust system fit very well with no
problems on installation. Sounds good too!

Mitch,

This email is VERY depressing. I had intended to order this set-up for
my TR250 during the current free shipping sale. Now, I don't know. For
$500 I want a system that bolts up with no modifications to my head or
the manifold.

Anyone else had a bad experience with this system or with Rimmer? I
heard Rimmer was OK. Did I hear wrong?
