Moose, for decades I=E2=80=99ve worshiped @ the church of DeWalt. For the la=
st couple decades I=E2=80=99ve purchased mostly refurbished tools from CPO O=
utlets. Everything has looked new, sometimes in factory packaging. About hal=
f new price.=20
Can you provide any land of the rising sun brand names or where to find them=
please?
Here endith the reading.=20

Here is my take...
Dewalt has the most tools and is really solid. (Except their chainsaw!)
Milwaukee is pretty much top of the heap, but expensive and don't have as ma=
ny different tools.
All other brands are less costly and have a great selection, but seem to be m=
ore 'consumer' than 'professional.'
My way is to go Dewalt for most things and do Milwaukee for the stuff they a=
re WAY better at. (chainsaws, pole trimmers, etc.)
Also note, the land of the rising sun is now making tons of tools that are c=
ompatible with Dewalt and Milwaukee's batteries. These tools are super chea=
p (both in quality and price) but really extend the offerings of both brands=
. Tons of options for lights, inverters, etc.
Amen.

Followed all the suggestions, still not budging the lug nuts. It's running o=
ff a regular yellow coiled air line, straight from the compressor tank.=20
Everyone is so bullish on the battery impacts maybe I need one.=20
So...which one? I didn't have any other battery tools (lost in the same fire=
that got my air tools), so I don't have an existing battery ecosystem I wan=
t to use.=20
Twenty years ago I had a Milwaukee 18v impact that was no more impressive th=
an the 2131 and I didn't use it except at the track. I assume they've improv=
ed since then.=20
Are they all about the same or is one clearly better than the others?=20
Thanks fellas.=20
