2 suggestions: There is a sleeve you can put over the braided hose that is fire-retardant. The Pegasus catalog calls it a "fire proof sleeve", but we all know nothing is really fire proof. It's braid

Unfortunately, if these are good (Aeroquip) hoses, & not an imitation braid covering pulled over the hoses, you're not going to get anything better. If they are not Aeroquip, I would recommend them.

Oddly enough Jack, That same hose bit me when I was at your house last Monday night. They don't make shrink tubing that big, do they? Hate to wrap pretty material like that with electrical tape. Hope
