I do believe the following is correct: The 'L' shaped bracket that attaches to the fender is semi gloss black. It didn't come with the Ford engine so it won't be Ford blue. The basket itself is blue.

I believe there is some info on this on TigersUnited. I have no experience with a 347. Earlier strokers had problems with rods, etc. But this is supposed to be cured. But I have no direct knowledge.
